Divide and Conquer.
The firehose of fuckery wants take us down...unless we choose a lane and fight for what we believe in.
Looking away is not an option.
Doing nothing is not an option.
If you have the luxury of either of these things, think again, because this luxury will be short-lived.
I know I am (they are, this is) a buzz kill. I’m sorry. Don’t blame me. 32% of eligible voters love the grift and bought the con while 90 million nonvoters thought cool, I’ll sit this one out. What harm could it possibly do?
Immigrants are being sent to Guantanamo Bay, which has always been a blight on humanity and is now a modern-day concentration camp.
The Treasury Department has been infiltrated by Muskians, ages 19-24, who are rewriting code so AI determines what gets funded. They have your social security number and financial information, you know the stuff we are never to share with anybody to protect us from fraud and identity theft.
Gaza as the Middle East Riviera anyone? I know a few people who voted for Trump with a deep lust for developing Gaza. They are no longer friends.
Aid for those in need. Gone. Protections for the climate. Gone. Education, it’s been crap for years so they might as well get rid of it. I sound like a broken record.
The guy with six bankruptcies will bankrupt Americans, and most likely America. And he’s not even our biggest problem.
On election night in New York City, there were under parties celebrating the election of Elon Musk and JD Vance. These weren’t MAGA parties. No red hats, flags, or ridiculous tee shirts with Trump’s head on Rocky Balboa’s body. These were clean-cut everyday-looking Americans thrilled by what Elon and JD would do. These are white supremacists lusting for crypto, slavery, women in the kitchen, you get the picture.
This is not just a United States issue, Elon Musk, in his Ketamine-ridden state, longs for global control. No regulations, no taxation, nobody to stop him.
Good news is (did I bury the lead?), we are the stopgap. We are strong and resilient. We have overcome so much in our short history. We’re in the thick of it now. I know it’s a precious waste of our finite lives, but it is what it is, so let’s get to work. There’s time to waste.
So what’s your lane?
Pick one thing you care about. Kids, Earth, Women, LGBTQ, Immigrants, USAid, the Middle East, Guns Reform, Hunger. I’m just filling in the blanks. You know what you care about. Join, fund, start, run, anything. Just do something.
This moment is an invitation to care more.
This moment is about stepping in, stepping up, and doing everything in your power to help. We can’t do it all. We will need breaks. But we can do many many things.
Below are some sources of information, inspiration, laughter, and badassery.

As for organizations to join or fund, there are too many to list. You know what matters most to you. Don’t think about it, do it.
And please, keep Dialing for Democracy. Your representatives need to hear from you. If you don’t call, they have no idea what you think, feel, and care about, and maybe twiddling their thumbs while Democracy burns.

In love, gratitude, and a deep belief that we can and will overthrow these goons -

This is so good and everyone needs to hear/read this - the reminder to “divide & conquer” and “choose a lane”
I think that tweet has been identified as fake. I fell for it, too.
